This week’s biggest story: Jaguars cornerback Tyson Campbell’s four-year, $76.5 million contract extension.

Campbell was selected with the 33rd overall pick of the 2021 NFL Draft; he is now the second Jaguar to be signed to a second contract from that draft class (joining Trevor Lawrence). Jacksonville also extended Josh Hines-Allen and agreed to the “Stadium of the Future” deal this offseason.

“Tyson is a young, talented player who is an integral part of our defense and core member of our locker room," general manager Trent Baalke said in a statement. "He is a consummate professional on and off the field and we are confident that his best lies ahead. We have consistently messaged the importance of extending our core players and this is another step forward in honoring that commitment."

  • 🏈 Jaguars CB Tyson Campbell. The former Georgia Bulldog became the final piece of a monumental offseason for Jacksonville. The Jaguars now have a franchise quarterback, premier edge rusher, and top cornerback signed through 2028 when the “Stadium of the Future” is set to open. Campbell is the highest-paid cornerback in NFL history who has yet to make the Pro Bowl, but this investment is a sharp buy-low for Baalke and co., as the disruptive athlete is due for a breakout season under new defensive coordinator Ryan Nielsen. -Gus Logue

Love or hate him as a player, it’s has been mesmerizing to witness the dominance James has displayed for the red, white and blue in their tune-up games before heading to Paris. The Los Angeles Lakers star is showing no signs of aging in his play, which is good news for a national team looking to bring home yet another gold medal. -RJ Saunders

The new stadium is set to open in 2028. Much like Jaguars fans in Jacksonville, Tampa Bay Rays fans can rest easy knowing their team is here to stay. -Andrew Gibson

  • 🏈 Non-Jaguars throwback jerseys. The Jaguars released throwback uniforms last Thursday to celebrate its 30th season. The jerseys will be worn against the Colts in Week 5, when former head coach Tom Coughlin is to be indicted into the Pride of the Jaguars. With the iconic full-length jaguar logo on the jersey sleeves, the former jaguar head logo on the helmets, and a teal stripe with gold and black piping back on the pants, Jacksonville’s throwback uniforms are immediately among the best in the sport. Step aside, Eagles and Bucs fans. -Gus Logue

  • 🏀 Team USA cakewalking to gold. Although this is arguably one of the most talented groups Team USA has put together, they aren’t just going to be handed the gold medal. Though they finished their pre-Olympics run with a perfect record (5-0) their final two games weren’t what many expected to see from a team full of stars. The national team will be facing over 50 different NBA players from various countries in Paris this year. And should this squad fail to bring their “A” game or make late game mistakes, they’ll run the risk of being upset. -RJ Saunders

  • ⚾️ The Braves lineup. Injuries have ravaged the Braves lineup. Max Fried and Ozzie Albies are the latest to land on the injured list — Atlanta can’t catch a break. They’ve already lost All-Stars Ronald Acuña Jr. and Spencer Strider for the season. The current lineup looks nothing like the record-setting unit from 2023. -Andrew Gibson
